The lightness and darkness that pervades all our lives lies at the heart of Megan’s painting. The tussle between the two and the associated moods see her highlight the themes of wellbeing, balance, melancholy, joy and hope.
Megan’s painting has transformed and more people have taken an interest in the bold colour and layered textures. She works in oils with palette knife and acrylics with fingers or brush to capture moods through the use of scale and colour to give the painting a strong physical presence for the viewer.
